Chelsea have been dealt a major blow with club caught on the dilemma of losing Ngolo Kante this summer. The 31 year old's contract at Chelsea is set to expire at the end of the season with player reluctant to sign a new deal with the Blues. Paris Saints Germain are now on the leading lane to sign Kante from Chelsea with the Parisian club set to offer Kante a lucrative deal to lure him.
Chelsea are willing to offer Kante a two year deal but the player now wants a four year deal with the club, failure to which Kante will have to quit Chelsea for an alternative club. Kante is yet to reach any agreement with Chelsea despite a series of talks by the club on the player in a bid to try and retain him. Kante has been pivotal for Chelsea over the past seasons despite a grapple with injuries in the recent past.
Ngolo Kante joined Chelsea from Leicester City in 2016 and has significantly improved at Stamford Bridge. Kante has been crucial in big games with the player showing off his prowess in the midfield.
