Chelsea are in jubilation mood after they were recently crowned the new champions of the club world cup. The blues will resume action in the weekend with a premier league fixture against crystal palace on Saturday.
Chelsea are currently third in the premier league table, despite been away for a while in abu Dhabi for the club world cup competitions. The blues are however, sixteen points behind leaders, Manchester city in the premier league table.
Chelsea finished fourth in the premier league table last season. They were able to win both the champions league and the super cup. Chelsea have few injuries problems in their squad. Ben chilwell and Reece James have been the long term absentees for the blues.
They were joined recently by loftus cheek and Mason mount. Mount sustained a injury in the club world cup final against palmeiras. Chilwell injured his knee earlier in the season in champions league tie, against Juventus.
Chelsea have received a major boost as loftus cheek has returned to full training and appears to have overcome his injury. Recent reports also suggest that Mason mount could return in time for the carabao cup final against liverpool.
Chelsea will hope Ben chilwell and Reece James can also join the rest of the squad soon. We wish them quick recovery.
