Manchester United will be facing Westham tonight in the third Round of the Carabao Cup. Ole Gunnar's side defeated the Hammers on Saturday a game where Lingard came off the bench to score the winning goal after Benrahma had equalized Christiano Ronaldo's strike.
In this match Manchester United will be hoping to continue with impressive form this season. In a match that we expect United manager to ring so many changes, he will have to do that without Marcos Rashford. Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted that England international star is unlikely to be available until mid-october. The striker continues with his recovery from a shoulder operation.
Rashford has missed the start of the season after he underwent a surgery. In his response after he was asked yesterday about the availability of the forward and Alex Telles, he said
“Yeah it’s going well. They’ve worked really hard, both of them. Alex is a bit further on than Marcus. I don’t think we’ll see Marcus until after the international break but Alex has worked well and will be in the squad as well.”
Alex may be included in the match day squad but Rashford won't be rushed till mid October.
