During the occasion, the Ballon D'Or organizers surprisingly displayed a magazine containing the images of both Didier Drogba and Cristiano Ronaldo. The hall was full of laughter but according to my point of view is that, they displayed the right picture at the wrong time.
In fact, Ronaldo stated his reasons behind his absence and the reasons were much far from being jealous to the winners.
Honestly, the intentions of projecting such an image during the occasion is not yet clear, but I think it was meant to hurt the Portuguese player.
To my opinion, this wasn't a joke, i found it as an unfair deed and disrespect towards him.
Note that, Lionel Messi has missed this occasion severally, but they have never done such for him. Ronaldo and Drogba's image with pants was certainly to symbolises the color of their nations, for Vanity Fair Magazine.
What's your opinion as a reader? Was it okay for the organisers to display such an image at the Theatre Du Chatelet? Share your thoughts in the comments section below and don't forget to like. Thank you for reading.
