Arsenal have lost their opening two games of a league season for only the third time in the Premier League era
Sunday, August 22nd, 2021
Arsenal has suffered a big setback ahead of tonight's Premier League match against London rivals Chelsea.
This comes after their £30 million summer addition Ben White tested positive for the covid-19 virus.
Ben White will now be unable to compete in this match. It's a setback since he's crucial to the squad's defense, particularly in keeping Chelsea strikers at bay.
This comes just two days after Christian Pulisic, a winger for Chelsea and an American international, was announced to have tested positive for the Covid-19.
The players will be required to stay in quarantine until they are healthy again. The virus is becoming more dangerous as the number of those infected rises.
Since the league has allowed fully crowded stadiums during matches, it is projected to rise much more.
Chelsea made every effort to win the game and take all three points. With Lukaku returning to the club, their attacking force appears to be deadly.
