Gunners have done there job right last night when they saw off Greek side Slavia. In a tough quarter final second leg encounter. As two goals from Lacazette, and one a piece for Saka and Pepe. Ensured the premier league outfit make it to Europa league semis.
And now the Gunners have set a date with Villarreal in the semis.Thighteen days from now the Arsenal side will be taking on Villarreal. In the Europa league semis on away soil. Which will see the reverse fixture back at Emirates Stadium.
However Arsenal fans have something to cheer at least from the premier league. Though it won't be of much impact in the European competition. As per the FA the premier league fans, will be allowed back to their stadiums.
But these will happen only as from May 17. While the final round of premier league matches is scheduled on May 22. However clubs will only welcome back fans in either 25% or 10,000 spectators. Depending on which is lower.
As far as these is good news to all parties. As club revenues are concerned as well as fans enjoy live football. But still Arsenal will play most of there remaining fixtures without fans.
And these will mean games against Villarreal at home will be without fans still. It would have been a big boost to Arsenal. With fans in there Stadiums to push for easy win to Europa league finals.
