What Caused Martial's Training Ground Bust up As Garnacho is Close to Signing New Man Utd Contract

After engaging in an "angry" training-ground altercation with a Manchester United youngster, Anthony Martial has apologized. Despite Karim Benzema's injury, the 26-year-old attacker was left off of France's 26-man World Cup roster, and last week he was the target of a strong challenge from rookie Dan Gore.

Gore, an 18-year-old midfielder who was acquired this summer from Burnley, made a "clattering" tackle, to which Martial reacted.

Erik ten Hag's training was temporarily interrupted as a result of the two having to be pulled apart since Gore would not relent. According to The Mirror, Martial is reported to have "lashed out" and grabbed the youngster. According to reports, the Frenchman apologized to Gore, who forgave and reconciled with his teammate.

Garnacho Contract

In another, story, The Daily Star claims in an exclusive that the United sensation Garnacho is "near" to signing a lucrative new contract for ten times what he now makes.

Currently, earning £5,000 per week, Garnacho is expected to sign a contract worth £50,000, according to the Star.

According to reports, talks with Garnacho's representatives are moving along quite well, and United is optimistic that an agreement can be reached before the finish of the year.

It goes without saying that the World Cup is timely in that regard. For the upcoming month or so, Garnacho only needs to worry about his training and not taking part in any competitive games.

Given the duration of Garnacho's contract, the Reds are "content" with the current circumstance. It is clear that Old Trafford has the opportunity on their side in this situation, but if they are careless, that may change rapidly.

Garnacho seems like a player who is desperate to be competing at the top level every single week right now. I don't see any reasons why he wouldn't start looking elsewhere if United were unable to provide him with that.
