Naomi Too who has missed the first round Olympic qualifiers held in Der es Salaam in Tanzania last year where they finished second after Rwanda following her injury is now glad to be back to the team. She is very hopeful of making the final team of four players.
Naomi Too has been drafted in the provisional squad of the national women's beach volleyball team ahead of the final round of Tokyo Olympic games qualifiers. The competition is scheduled for June 21 to 27 in Morocco. Too is now among the seven players who are training at Pride Inn Flamingo hotel in Mombasa.
Too who is among the popular volleyball players in Kenya has now recovered from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury which he got during the Kenya volleyball federation 2019 as they were playing against Kenya prisons and she is at the moment fit to play again.
She said that it had been a long time since she played active volleyball but she is now happy because she has a chance. Head coach Sammy Mulinge stressing on the same said that Too is good to be in the team.
