For quite some time now, the Belgium football leagues have been a major destination for Kenyan footballers. Some of the Kenyan footballers who have had stints with Belgium clubs include Victor Wanyama, Joseph Okumu, Ayub Timbe, Johanna Omolo, Erick Johanna and Abud Omar who had their time at Beerschot, KAA Gent, Genk, Cercle Brugge, Waasland Beveren and Cercle Brugge respectively.Latest updates indicate that another Kenyan footballer is on the verge of joining Belgium giants KAA Gent.
According to Jeff Kinyanjui's Facebook page, Kenyan youngster Paul Odhiambo is on trials at Belgian top tier side KAA Gent.If the fast rising footballer's deal to the club materializes, then he will play alongside his Kenyan counterpart Joseph Okumu who is a key player at the club.
With most of the Belgian clubs banking on African footballers currently, do you think that Odhiambo's trials at KAA Gent will be a success? Feel free to share your views on the comment section and remember to share and follow for more news.
