Manchester United has completed the signing of Netherlands and Feyenoord defender Tyrell Malacia. An agreement on personal terms has been reached, Man United will pay € 15 million plus € 2 million add-ons to Feyenoord.
Deal set to be sealed soon once contracts have been signed and medical tests have been completed. The 22-year-old is set to be the first United signing under new manager Erik ten Hag. Malacia was on the radar of Olympique Marseille before Man United hijacked the deal.
Man United is still on the transfer market trying to strengthen their squad ahead of the new 2022/23 campaign that is scheduled to begin in August.
The Red Devils are still pushing to sign Netherlands midfielder Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona. Talks have been going on for a while now but no agreement has been reached yet ten Hag is still optimistic that the deal will be completed very soon.
