Former Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama is set to leave Montreal Impact at the end of his three years contract in December.The midfielder revealed to Pepeta sports that he will be leaving Impact at the end of his current contract which expires in December. Impact has a chance to renew his contract for one year according to the clause initiated in his contract.
Wanyama is among the highest earners at Montreal Impact, taking home USD 3.91 million. The amount that could force Impact to allow the player to leave as a free agent.The Kenyan joined Montreal Impact from Tottenham Hotspurs after negotiations with the then coach Thiery Henry. We do not know his next destination, but he has been linked with a move to Turkish side Galatasarray FC.We wish him all the best ahead.
