Monday 16th August Reliably Fixed Multibets To Bank on

Preston North End are one of just two teams to have lost their first two games of the Championship season, but the Lilywhites can hit back when they travel to face Huddersfield Town at John Smith’s Stadium in midweek.

PNE turned in a dismal display on the opening day of the season when going down 1-4 at home to Hull, but there was significant improvement from The Lilywhites on Saturday despite a narrow 2-1 defeat at Reading.

That result shouldn’t cause too much alarm considering how early we are into the campaign and Reading’s strength at home and it’s worth remembering that PNE finished the last season with four consecutive victories under the guidance of Frankie McEvoy.

Saturday’s defeat at The Madejski also marked Preston’s first away league loss in five (W3, D1) and they take on a toiling Terriers outfit this Tuesday who they beat in both Championship meetings last term (1-2 & 3-0).

Huddersfield were crushed 1-5 by Fulham here at the weekend and Carlos Corberan’s side have now won just one of their last dozen league starts stretching back to 2020/21, losing five including three of their last six.

Town have also won just one of their last 13 outings at John Smith’s Stadium, losing six including three of their last four, so we’re keen to back the Lilywhites this Tuesday night at a decent price.

And with both teams scoring in Town’s last five league games and in PNE’s last three, 1-2 is our correct score forecast for the action in West Yorkshire.
