Morocco met Portugal in another quarter final game of the FIFA 2022 World Cup. This was another tough game because it involved two tough Nations that had toiled so hard to reach the quarter final.
Fernando Santos dropped Cristiano Ronaldo to the bench for the second time in a row. The Morocco players had a very good display and they knew that they were representing Africa as a continent. They raised their game high and made sure that they got a game before the end of the first half.

Yahya Attia Attia Allah gave Youssef En-Nesyri a good pass and he scored a goal. The first half ended 1-0 in favor of the African Nation. The second half started on a very high note and the Portuguese Manager decided to bring in Cristiano Ronaldo to help the team. He substituted Ruben Neves in and brought in the record breaker.

He did not help much as Morocco held on to their one goal. Walid Cheddira was sent off but this did not make the players to give up. They defended their lead until the last whistle of the game. The game ended 1-0 in favor of Morocco.
