As Hector Bellarin's future at Arsenal is uncertain, it has been widely rumored that the Gunners are looking for a new right back.
Many great right-backs have been linked with a move to Arsenal, but according to Express, the Gunners are now interested in Bolgna's 23-year-old right back, Takehiro Tomiyasu, with talks between Arsenal and Takehiro's representatives now underway. Takehiro's move comes after his proposed move to Tottenham was thwarted, with Tottenham opting for Christian Romero of Atalanta.
Takehiro is a technically skilled player who is at ease playing from the back, and the fact that he can play as a right back or a center back should be enough to entice Arsenal to sign him, just as Tottenham hoped but failed to do.
Bologna is thought to be open to £20 million proposals for Takehiro, and if no offer is made before August 20th, Takehiro is unlikely to leave the club.
Please share your thoughts on whether Takehiro is the much-needed breath of fresh air in Arsenal's right back. (source: Express)
