ARSENAL: Players Unavailable For Selection Against Liverpool today

Mikel Arteta will be lacking certain players in the trip heading to Liverpool today evening. Takehiro Tomiyasu, Emile Smith Rowe, Partey, Elneny, Aubameyang, Pepe, Ødegaard, Maitland Niles and Balogun will all be unavailable for selection due to unavoidable circumstances.

Because of injuries, both Tomiyasu and Smith Rowe have been out of the squad not even featuring in the training grounds with others. Tomiyasu has tight calf injury causing him lots of discomfort while Smith Rowe's right groin is what makes him unavailable. Since last year November when Emile sustained the injury, the player has oftentimes been coming off the bench to substitute others. That clearly shows that the 21-years old midfielder is not fully fit to play full-time according to the Gunners' boss

Other players like Thomas Partey, Elneny, Aubameyang and Pepe are out to represent their countries in the ongoing African Cup of Nations and will be back once the competitions are over. On the other hand, Maitland Niles and Balogun are out of the club on 6-month loans to AS Roma and Middlesbrough respectively. Ødegaard's case is not clearly known but can arguably be COVID-19 related. Meanwhile, Gabriel Magalhães is back and trained with the first yesterday. What's your predictions?
