The 2022/23 En glish Premier League campaign returned today after being on a break for more than three weeks. The competition has been full of surprises since game week one with most of the top six clubs struggling to get wins.
We have seen small clubs have a better run compared to the big ones in the last few months. The likes of Brighton Hove Albion, Newcastle, Brentford, and Fulham have enjoyed the season so far and some of these clubs might qualify for European football next season.
They have all been terrific in the league and far better than the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea which have been the two big clubs that have struggled since the start of the campaign. The competition is headed into the second part of the season.
We are likely to see the favorite teams win the league as the Premier League head into the last months of the season. Arsenal and Manchester City have been considered the favorites to win the league but we might see Newcastle United surpassing the two giant clubs.
The Magpies have been exceptional since the start of the campaign and have remained the team that has surpassed the majority of the people in the Premier League. After their big win over Leicester City today they moved second in the league table just one point ahead of Manchester City.
Newcastle has been getting better after every game week and they might end up as champions of England as they are looking better than ever. If they will remain on their winning streak and continue dominating matches they could end up as champions of England.
