The FIFA 22, which was launched on October 1, 2021, introduced the new player ratings.
In other words, these are footballers whose ratings have grown, while others have decreased, based on their performance throughout the year.
Following his efforts in ensuring Atletico Madrid's La Liga title in 2020/2021 increased his rating to 91, Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid emerged the highest-rated goalkeeper in FIFA 22.
The majority of forwards rated at or over 90% have been superb throughout the year, Lionel Messi of PSG being the most highly rated player in FIFA 22 with a rating of 93 percent, followed by Robert Lewandowski (92% rating) and Cristiano Ronaldo (91% rating).
During his time at Barcelona, Lionel Messi was the top scorer in La Liga with Lewandowski being the top scorer in the Bundesliga while Ronaldo was the top scorer in Serie A in the 2020/2021 season. This demonstrates that, these players deserved their ratings.
