Kenya has been a wonderful destination for all champions looking forward to make substantial moves in the world arena as athletes. Kenya offers a typical picture of all world varying environment for trainers. With Eldoret being the home to great athletes, Kipchoge Keino was honoured with the world continental tour coming to Nairobi.
With similar rankings as the prestigious Diamond League, Kipchoge Keino classic will be hosted in Nairobi this September. The events which will bring together competitors from the entire world both in track and field events will take place in 18th September.
During the closing ceremony of the world U20 Championships, the Athletic Kenya chairman urged the world to plan to attend the Kipchoge classic events, as they expose competitors to world status and in a special way.
Kasarani and the AK are gearing up for the event which will make qualifications for the world U20 Championships to fill the gap of those who will leave the junior competitions for senior category.
