
Turkish coach Engin Firat is set to continue as the head coach for the Harambee stars national team after Kenya's ban by FIFA got lifted. This means Kenya will now be able to participate in international competitions and that they can also send representatives for the CAF matches. This disclosure as reported, was made yesterday by a senior Football Kenya Federation official who sought to remain anonymous. He revealed that the NEC had opted to extend the tactician's contract after he had appeared to instill a unique technical expertise during his short spell. The playing style for Harambee stars had greatly improved during his time despite not collecting maximum points at the time.
