Arsenal To Lose Talented Super Star This Summer As He Agrees To Join French Ligue 1 Giants

Mikel Arteta's led Arsenal could be losing one of their most promising midfield players as reports from France indicate Matteo Guendouzi has now agreed to join Ligue 1 outfit Olympic Marseille.

Arsenal's manager Mikel Arteta shares a soured relationship with the talented midfielder after their clash following Guendouzi's fiery spat with Brighton's striker Neal Maupay which saw the player send out on loan to Hertha Berlin.

The maestro has enjoyed a fruitful loan spell with the Bundesliga side and suitors have been alerted of his availability as it seems he may have played his last game for the Emirates-based giants.

French publication LEquipe now reports that the France U21 midfielder has agreed personal terms with Marseille over a move to France and only a transfer fee will have to be agreed between the two clubs.

It further reports that Marseille have placed a bid of £8m for the player but the gunners are looking to get double of that amount for the player that was signed by their former manager Unai Emery.

Lucas Torreira, David Luiz, Willian Borges and Granit Xhaka will be leaving the club in the summer before they can bring in new players with Edu Gaspar expected to be a busy man in shaping up the gunners squad.
