Kenyan international winger has once again turned down the national team Harambee Stars call up ahead of the World Cup qualifiers match against Mali. The Kenyan born star who started his career in Australia has hoped for the call up to the Australian side. Bruce Kamau represented Australia in the youth ranks and is elible to play for Kenya.
According to reports from sports journalist Jeff Kinyanjui, Bruce has reportedly turned down Harambee stars call up for the Mali encounter. Engin Firat wished to have him in his squad but all went wrong as the teenage sensation chose Australia over Kenya. The reasons why Kenyan football players have been declining to play for the national team is yet to be known.
