Is Arteta Copying The Reds With A Move For His Own Diogo Jota?

Arteta may soon have his own Diogo Jota. The versatile forward has undoubtedly established himself as a cog in Jurgen Klopp's team, as evidenced by his new contract with the Reds.

Just as Liverpool moved for promising Wolverhampton attacker Jota, Arsenal want to replicate the Reds' move by signing their own Jota from Wolves in the form of Pedro Neto.

Neto, like Jota, can play in almost any attacking position, is technically gifted, and scores goals. While Jota has gone on to score 34 goals and 9 assists in 84 games for Liverpool, Neto has been equally impressive for Wolves, where he has 12 assists and 11 goals in 99 appearances despite injuries.

Arteta requires a versatile forward to complement the attackers he already has at his disposal. Neto hasn't really reached his full potential at the age of 22, and just as Jota's game improved after moving to Liverpool, Arsenal could be the stage for Neto to reach his full potential.

Arteta, as he has done with Martin Odegaard and now Gabriel Jesus, has the potential to polish Neto into the star he can be. (FFC)
