Former Chelsea senior player transfer to Barcelona has finally been confirmed. The Blues were ready to lose two star defenders this summer transfer window. Antonio Rudiger joined Real Madrid as a free agent some weeks ago. Andreas Christensen has been on the move to Barcelona. Due to financial implications, the Spanish international has had to wait to have his move officially confirmed. He joined Barca as a free agent signing a contract up to 2026.
It is just nice to finally see the deal done and sealed now. Chelsea are now in the market looking for replacements in their defence line. The defender has been in the Blues squad aiding the club win trophies and he will be having a new challenge in the coming seasons.
