The latest reports that have just come up is that former Olympic champion has been involved in a plane crash and he has been rushed to hospital after sustaining minor injuries. The former 800 metres champions David Rudisha was involved in an aircraft mishap when the plane just a few metres from the airport where the plane had taken off. However, the cause of the crash incident is still unclear. Reports by NTV indicate that he is currently heading to the hospital for treatment in Makindu after being involved in a light aircraft accident near Amboseli. 
Reports said, "Former 800m Olympic champion David Rudisha is currently heading to hospital for treatment in Makindu after being involved in a light-aircraft accident near Amboseli. #NTVWeekendEdition." The aircraft had just flown for a short distance after take off and crash landed in Amboseli. David Rushida and the others have sustained unspecified injuries and rushed to hospital.
