Chelsea has lost some top players this summer and another star is on the verge of leaving the club. The likes of Antonio Rudiger, Romelu Lukaku, and Andreas Christensen are some of the players who left Stamford Bridge this summer.
Despite club manager Thomas Tuchel working hard in the transfer window to sign some top talent, he could lose another player this week. English youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi is expected to leave Chelsea on loan in the next few days.
The 21-year-old winger has not featured much in most of the games under the German since he was appointed as the club manager. Odoi has been struggling to have enough playing time but it has been difficult for him.
Sterling has been one of the main players for the German tacticians which will make it hard for Odo i to start ahead of the former Manchester City forward. Odoi will join Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen with the deal expected to be complete in the next few days.
Negotiations between Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen come after the Blues rejected two loan proposals from the Premier League. The Blues do not want to sell the English younger as he is highly talented and he is also still young.
Callum Hudson-Odoi will get to play more often at Leverkusen compared to Chelsea where there is a lot of competition in his position.
