Chelsea started the season head up in all competition they participated.They started well by winning the Super cup trophy against Villa real and led in the Epl title race.This went on success and every team walked arms low towards Stamford Bridge and were not welcoming in their stadium due to the fear of the blues until some of their top players got injured.Likes of Pulisic, Ziyech and Chilwell affected the race challenge. The squad depth which was seen was no where to be seen.
Thomas Tuchel is yet to show his mastermind tactics after the club got its new owner. The return of some of the wingers and attackers has made it possible for top four hopes and Champions League qualification for next season.
Chelsea were in great demand to sign Ousmane Dembele in January but the deal was not finalized and now the France international is on free transfer come the end of the season. Chelsea are tempted to approach the winger and try to bring him to Stamford bridge in a battle with Bayern Munich who wants him to come in for Coman who may leave when his contract expires. Chelsea are ready to reunite the winger with his former team mate Christian Pulisic.
