Bunyore starlets eye victory against Vihiga Queens

Bunyore starlets headcoach Zechariah Amakhanga will be eyeing victory when they take on Vihiga Queens during their Premier League clash on sunday at the Mumias sports complex.

The league debutants clipped Bunyore starlets 2_1 in their previous fixture of the Mumboha stadium in Vihiga county to move seventh on the league standings with 12 points,ten leaders Vihiga Queens.

Amakhanga will be boosted by the return of Shirleen Ongote,Ivy Makokha and Susan Muhonya Malda after the trio missed the last outing over injuries.

The Vihiga tactician,Boniface Nyamunyamu who led his charged in demolishing Wadaida 8-1 in the last match said he must work on striking department going to this weekend fixture.

"As you are aware we lost some of our crucial players like goalkeeper Lilian Awuor and strikerJentrix Shikangwa who joined European clubs and since they left we have been a bit lacking in attack.I therefore urge my strikers to step up their game and score more goals as it is our aim to win the title this season".

Elsewhere at Ligi Ndogo Grounds,Kangemi ladies will squire it out with Nakuru Queens,kisumu all Starlets will entertain Kayole at the backyard in Moi Kisumu stadium while Thika Queens will host Wadaida in Thika Stadium.

Sunday fixture will see Tranz Nzoia Facons paying Gaspo at the Kitale ASK showground while Ulinzi starlets will tackle Zetech in Raaraka.
