Covid-19 omicron variance is threatening to take us back to the 2020 world and this could come with devastating effects. This week, Borrusia Dortmund announced that their weekend's game against Bundesliga table leaders Bayern Munich will be played in front of only 15,000 fans.
More sad news is that the club had plans of having the game played behind closed doors! This was the case with RB Leipzig when they won against Bayer Leverkusen. The game was played behind closed doors.
These news are a heartbreak to all football fans across the globe as things could get worse in the other leagues too. All these are devastating effects of increasing cases of covid-19 infections in Germany and other countries across the world.
