Cristiano Ronaldo Told A Club He'd Not Fit Their Style Of Play If He Signs For This Summer

Cristiano Ronaldo made headlines over the weekend after officially making his willingness to leave Manchester United this summer clear.

This is according to The Times who reported that Cristiano Ronaldo have asked Manchester United to allow any reasonable bid from interested party this summer.

Should he exit the club this summer, it will terminate a 2-year- deal that he signed for Manchester United from Juventus last summer.

According to the aforementioned news outlet, the Portugal captain wants to leave the premier league outfit due to the fact that they didn't qualify for the European top tier tournament.

Before making this issues known to the club and it's fans, reports linked the 37-year old with a move to the Bundesliga, claims that were later declared untrue by the club's management.

Later after Bayern declared those links as untrue, fresh details of Ronaldo's move to Chelsea emerged as reports of Jorge Mendes meeting new Chelsea owner Todd were unveiled.

Amid all these rumours that hints possible Cristiano Ronaldo's destination, different reactions are also received from managers, coaches and former legends.

Despite the fact that Bayern says they are not interested in the ace this summer, Bayern Munich legend Lortha Mathaus believes Cristiano Ronaldo could be a "sexy" signing in his former club's history if they can make.

However, the legend is also for the opinion that Cristiano Ronaldo could not fit into Bayern's style of play despite recognizing Ronaldo's brilliance.

"I’m also not sure if he fits into Bayern Munich’s system. But he’s still an outstanding goal-scorer. He’s one of the best strikers of all time and would certainly score around 30 goals. Refinancing through jersey sales and the like would be guaranteed." He said.
