The French league has been lucky to have three of the best players in the world at Paris Saint Germain this season. These are Argentina's Lionel Messi,Brazil's Neymar and France forward Kylian Mbappe. It was evident that the three would be in battle to outshine each other on the field as well as other platforms outside.Yesterday,Mbappe beat both Neymar and Messi to be crowned the best Ligue one player of the season. He won this award after managing to score twenty five league goals and provide fourteen assists for Paris.
It is thanks to him that Paris won the league title this season and also the Coupe De Trophees. This award was Mbappe's fifth and a third consecutive having won it in the 2019 and 2020 seasons. This award also saw him beat Zlatan Ibrahimovich and become the player with the most French player of the season awards.Considering he is still young and only getting started,he is definitely going to extend this record further.
