Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed what has been hurting him for the past few days when he puts the television on while addressing the press ahead of weekend clash against Burnley.
" In the past few days it was hurting, it really hurt to put the television on and see those teams in there and not see Arsenal there, it was painful."
The club finished in the eighth position in the Premier League table last season, which prevented them from qualifying for the European football and will be only playing domestic games which includes the Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
However, Mikel Arteta have a top goal of returning the club back to the European football this season, and despite struggling in the first Premier League matches, the Spaniard believes that he is the right man to lead the Gunners.
