UEFA Champions League

FC Bayern Munich take lead in their opening champions League match.

FC Bayern Munich has kicked off their UEFA champions League campaign by thrashing Ronald koeman's side 3-0 in their first encounter this season.

Julian Nagelsmann's side took an early lead through Thomas Muller, in the first half of the game. The German forward also praised his fellow teammate Jamal Musiala, as an extraordinary talent.

Musiala gave a good performance for his German club as the young talent attempted a long range shot. The ball bounced off the post and Lewandoski was able to tap it in with ease, giving Bayern a 2-0 lead.

Despite Ronald koeman's formation, his side conceded another goal in the 85th minute through German forward Robert Lewandoski. This helped his team seal a solid victory in Camp Nou.

A section of Barcelona fans have raised concern after losing to Bayern during their first opening champions league match and this might prompt the club's management to introduce a new coach.
