Manchester United Star Who Proved Against Atalanta He Should Never Be Benched This Season

Manchester United was back to winning ways in a dramatic comeback against Serie A club Atalanta on Wednesday night at Old Trafford. The Red Devils were down to two goals before the half-hour mark when Mario Pasalic and Merih Demiral scored the two goals in the first half to give the Italian side the lead.

Ole Gunnar's men were awful in the first half and they could have conceded more goals before halftime. In the second half, the Red Devils were back stronger and looked electrifying creating chance after chance something that paid back well when Rashford scored the first goal in the 53rd minute.

Club captain Harry Maguire scored the equalizer 15 minutes before the 90th minute after a brilliant pass from Bruno Fernandes to put the back at the bottom corner. Cristiano Ronaldo scored the winner in the 81st through a header to inspire the team for a comeback and go at the top of Group F with six points.

The Red Devils looked more lethal in the second with Marcus Rashford who is back he kept getting past the visitor's defenders with his good runs. He had a couple of good runs behind the defenders and he could have scored more in the night. Rashford has always made the Manchester United attack more electrifying and yesterday he was more effective than any other Manchester United player.

Bruno Fernandes spotted his run to play him the through ball that lead to a goal which saw him score two goals in two games he has played this season. He was out for surgery in the first two months of the season but he is back like he has never been injured.

Rashford has been on another level since Ole Gunnar became Manchester United's manager and he has been one of his best players. He proved yesterday he is one of the most important players for the team and he should always start as he is more effective than Jadon Sancho, Anthony Martial, and Mason Greenwood.
