Among the premier league top clubs that are yet to complete a single signing this summer transfer window, Manchester United and Chelsea are included.
The red devils have dragged their move to sign Netherlands top midfielder Frenkie De Jong for weeks with reports indicating that they are keen in sealing this transfer first before moving to other targets.
Their slow pace in conducting their deals has left the club's fans worried a lot with the preseason starting on Monday.
Amid United's reluctance to seal their transfers fast, reports emerged few days ago that Ronaldo was unhappy with the club's transfer situation and was willing to leave.
Just days after those speculations, latest reports indicate that Chelsea's owner Todd Boehly has met with Cristiano Ronaldo's agent,Jorges Mendes in Portugal.
It is reported that Ronaldo's potential mkve to sign for Chelsea was among the things they discussed.
However, Manchester United are said to be keen to keep the star at Old Trafford.
