Why Man United May Fail To Qualify For Europa Semi Finals This Season

Europa league has reached the quarter final stage as different teams are putting in everything they have to reach the next level. Manchester united is among the clubs that are still in this competition after beating Granada 2-0 in the first half.

This week, teams are going to face each other in the second leg as they all look forward to qualify for the semifinals. Man United victory last week over Granada put them one step in the quarter finals.

Ole gunnar is keen to win a trophy this season as he has failed to keep up with the pace of Manchester city in the premier league race. Europa cup now remain the only cup that they can win this season. Their dreams might come to an end this week as they may fail to qualify for the semifinals despite their 2 goals advantage.

In the first leg, most of their key defenders were booked including Lindelof and Maguire. This means their defence will be vulnerable to attack which leaves Granada a better chance to overturn the score sheet.

Absence of Maguire, Lindelof and Luke Shaw means man United will struggle to defend the two goals this Thursday when they meet in the second leg. There are now high chances they my fail to qualify for quarter finals due to absence of their keep players who would have kept their defence solid.

Pogba and Tomminay won't be available as they were also suspended for that match. This leaves ole Gunnar with less options to fill in the gaps left by the five players. They are all hoping Tuanzebe and Baily will help them make their defence to remain solid.
