According to reliable sources, Arsenal are keeping tabs on Manchester United’s wantaway striker Anthony Martial. It has been rumored that Arsenal representatives have been deployed to Manchester United to assess the player’s development. Recently, it was reported that Manchester United were willing to sell the player following a series of disappointing performances.
Alexander Lacazette is soon leaving the Emirates and a number of candidates to replace him have already been shortlisted, including Anthony Martial who is the latest addition to the list. Martial however earns a hefty weekly salary, twice as much as Lacazette’s and if Arsenal are to make a move on him, then the player should accept a wage cut. His style of play would suit Arsenal’s game style very well but Arsenal fans are likely to act belligerently about this news.
Harry Kane will be looking forward to opening his account in the Premier League against Arsenal tomorrow at the Emirates. Kane is the most prolific player in the North London derby, scoring 11 goals with five of them coming penalties. On Wednesday, Kane scored his first goal of the season and Tottenham fans expect him to continue with his form tomorrow against their arch-rivals.
Arsenal’s defense has however proved to be a force to reckon with especially in the last two games of the Premier League. Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes have been very strong at the defense, registering two clean sheets. Behind them has been Aaron Ramsdale who is yet to concede a goal this season. Will Harry Kane work his magic and break down Arsenal’s defense, or will the indomitable Arsenal defense pocket Kane and prevent Tottenham from scoring? Only time will tell.
Apparently, Mikel Arteta already has a lineup for the Sunday clash. After being asked if he already has a team selected for tomorrow’s clash against Tottenham, he said that he had an idea but he will first consult his technical bench and absorb their opinions and suggestions. Arteta is expected to go strong against Tottenham on Sunday and therefore, big players are expected to make appearances in the game.
