Wolves vs Tottenham
After an impressive win against Manchester City, Nuno Espirito Santo leads Spurs against his former club at Molineux on Sunday. The north London club are pundits favourite for this one. Wolves posed a threat against Leicester, particularly on the break, but they were unable to find the net despite registering 17 shots. The midfield duel will go a long way to deciding this match. It’s a different task this weekend for Spurs, who will need to break down a solid Wolves defence. The away win still represents value, particularly if Harry Kane is available.
Predictions: Tottenham Hotspurs win.
Arsenal vs Chelsea
Chelsea gave Crystal Palace a lesson at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Even with Kai Havertz on the bench and Romelu Lukaku not yet available, Thomas Tuchel’s side were dominant. Arsenal are low on confidence after a poor performance and defeat to Brentford. Mikel Arteta’s Gunners are rightly heavy underdogs for this encounter despite home advantage. Lukaku should be able to play a part on Sunday. Chelsea’s defence looked just as solid as it was last season in the win over Palace. Arsenal have caused the Blues some problems over the last couple of seasons, but there’s a chasm between the two right now. This looks like a routine Chelsea win and they are a good on the -1 handicap.
Predictions: Chelsea win.
