Germany powerhouse, Borrussia Dortmund have today confirmed the appointment of Edin Terzic as their new head coach on a deal until 2025, following Marcos Rose's dismissal last week. The former Borrussia Moncheglabach boss led the club to 2nd position in the Bundesliga table 8 points behind Champions Bayern Munich & was eliminated in both the Europa league & DFP Pokal cup competitions.
Edin Terzic has experience in coaching the Black & Yellows, having taken over from Lucien Favre on interim basis last season where he led the club to the German cup & champions league qualification hence the Dortmund top brass view him as an ideal manager to lead the club back to glory days.
Meanwhile, the German giants have made positive strides in their aspirations to end Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga, with them understood to have already brought in 4 new signings. Forward Karim Adeyemi from Salzburg, Midfielder Salih Ozcan from Koln & defenders Niklas Sule & Nico Schlotterbeck from Bayern Munich & Freiburg respectively.
