When London club Chelsea signed Belgium international Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan this August,we all thought thay had finally solved their striking problems for good. Two months down the line,it is safe to say the blues made a mistake as they are still struggling to score goals.Lukaku is nowhere to be seen having only scored three goals and provided zero assists since the start of the new season. The fact that Reece James is the current leading Chelsea goalscorer despite being a defender is enough proof Lukaku is sleeping on his job.Lukaku's failure to score goals has seen them lose valuable points the past three games and move to position three on the table.Haaland on the other hand who was rejected for Lukaku is at 11 league goals for Borussia Dortmund. If the blues had instead signed the Norwegian, they would be on top of the table and clear favourites to win the premier league.
