Manchester United's Next transfer Target Hijacked, Has 'Schedule Meeting' With Their Rivals

Manchester United is considering bolstering its striking position in the upcoming transfer window. Despite the signings of Christian Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho, Manchester United's striking form has been terrible.

Manchester City is said to have 'scheduled Erling Haaland transfer meeting' to resolve a dispute over the £64 million release clause, thus the Red Devils are set to miss out on signing their next transfer target. The race to recruit Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland is heating up, but Manchester City is dead set on securing the 'goal machine.'

According to the Times report, City would meet with Haaland's representative, Raiola, around the turn of the year to discuss a prospective deal.

Raiola and Haaland senior met with representatives from Barcelona and Real Madrid earlier this year, with the latter in a better position to compete with City this summer.

When Edinson Cavani's contract expires after the season, he is expected to return to South America, therefore Manchester United could be involved.
