Kenyan Striker to play next season without the duo

How Olunga will play without the duo

Michael Olunga is currently on holiday in Kenya as he waits for the pre season. The striker joined his new club Al Duhail SC in the last transfer window and has already established himself as the club's main striker. The Kenyan replaced the experienced Mario Mandzukic who left the club at the end of the season. Olunga has been great since signing for the club and will be looking forward for the new season.

However, the player will have to do without his striking partner who will be leaving the club to join his former club Palmeires in the Brazilian topflight. The Brazilian Eduardu Pereira Rodrigues has been Olunga's partner in the striking force. He was playing at number 10 and his main role was to provide Olunga with passes. Olunga may have to do with a new striker if the club decides to recruit this window.

The "engineer "will also have to do without his captain Mehdhi Benatia, the 34year old Morrocan has also left the club. It is rumoured that he will be heading back to Italy where he spent most of his playing time. The experienced Morrocan centre back has played for Juventus in Italy.

Benatia has been a close friend of Olunga putting in mind that all the players come from Africa. The Harambee Stars striker will be tasked to provide goals for his new club as well as the national team ahead of World Cup qualifiers.

We wish engineer all the best .share, like comment and follow my news for more updates.
