Bruno Fernandes was on the score sheet as Manchester United beat their closet rivals Manchester City 2-1 in EPL encounter played at Old Trafford. Substitute Jack Grealish had opened the scoring for Man City at 60th minute.
However, United did not lose hope and continued fighting back. Bruno Fernandes pulled back the goal in the 78th minute and Marcus Rashford continued with his scoring streak as he scored the winning goal in the 82nd minute.
That was United's 12th win in a row in all competitions. They have not lost any game since they returned from world cup. They have also not lost any game since they terminated Cristiano Ronaldo's contract after he insulted the club.
Bruno Fernandes showed a master class performance. He controlled the midfield. After the game, he commented that United success at the moment is because of teamwork. He said that Erik Ten Haag introduced a culture of team work. Bruno said that they used to play as individuals before but are now playing as a team. "We used to be individuals. Now we are a team, you can see a proper team that works for each other." Bruno told BT.
He further added that the team will continue working hard to achieve their set objectives, winning trophies being one of them.
