Red Bull's driver Max Versteppen Wins the 70th anniversary Grand Prix ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Valterri Bottas in Silvertones British Grand Prix

Versteppen started the 52 lap race just behind Mercedes pair Lewis Hamilton at P2 ,Vattleri Bottas at P1 and the German Marco Hulkenberg driving for Racing Point

Race quickly sets up at Lap 1 as Versteppen had gone past Hulkenberg and was upto P3 while Hamilton held up his teammates Bottas dropping him to P2

At Lap 10/52 Versteppen was less than a Second Behind Lewis Hamilton a statement that he was going for a Podium finish

Red Bull's radio tried asking Versteppen to hold back but he was having non of it replying "..mate, this is the only chance iam getting to be close to the Mercedes- I'm not just sitting behind like a grandma.."

Lap 14,15/52 the Mercedes pair pitted for fresh tires letting Versteppen into a clear lead

At Lap 24 the Mercedes pair were seen struggling with the new sets of tires despite Pitting while Versteppen still led without pitting yet and he made the pit at Lap 27 setting in Medium tires though not a perfect pit he joined the race and went past Bottas to retake the lead

At Lap 42/52 Top 5 in the race was as follows Versteppen, Bottas , Leclerc, Hamilton & Hulkenberg.

Hamilton with new sets tyres went past Leclerc upto P3 and past teammates at Lap 50 tried to close in on Versteppen but it was all too late as 9 seconds proved so hard to match

Red Bulls Max Versteppen won the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix holding the Mercedes pair Lewis Hamilton (P2) and Valterri Bottas(P3) To take his first Victory in 2020.

The rest of the standing looks this way

While in the Overall standing Hamilton leads with 88 Points, With 3 wins Bottas second with 58 Points and Max Versteppen completes the Third with 52 Points
