This weekend's premier league matches have been postponed following the demise of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth (II) to give room for mourning. This means the Gunners fixture against Everton and probably the one against Brentford, will have to be rescheduled unless communicated otherwise.
However, Mikel Arteta will seemingly benefit from this break as the Spaniard expects the return of some of his key players in the squad including Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe. Partey who has been superb profile for the Gunners since this start of this season, as also maintained regular starting and the Ghanian has lately been in perfect form on Arsenal shirt.
In the previous five victories that Mikel bagged in, Partey served a vital agent as his contribution bolstered Arsenal's pivot. Without any doubt, his return as hinted by the medical team to be in a few weeks time, will mean strength in Arsenal's current squad.
As for Emile Smith Rowe, he sustained an injury during the warm up session prior to the old Trafford clash. The attacking midfielder then missed selection for the Europa league match at Switzerland against Zurich in the course of the week, but Gunners are hoping to see him sooner on the pitch, as medical reports showed his injury was never serious.
Therefore, for Arsenal, the break will mean their gain.
