The Position Manchester United Have A Weakness Despite Their Win Over Wolves Today

Manchester United managed to narrowly get a win away to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux Stadium with a late goal from Mason Greenwood just six minutes before the 90th minute. The Ole Gunnar side struggled in most part of the match and they didn't have a shot on target in the first half with most of chances they created in the second half.

United were awful in the first half and they couldn't manage to get past Wolves defence and they could have conceded several goals in the fist half but the defence and saves from David de Gea help the side get a clean sheet in the match.

The Red Devils have good years in almost every position this season aftr making some terrific signing like bringing Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho and their former star Cristiano Ronaldo. They have one of the best front three in the Premier League and that kind of frontline will definitely win Ole Gunnar trophies.

Manchester United reinforced their defence partnering Harry Maguire with Raphael and they proved to be decisive today at the back ensuring they didn't conceded a goal.

However, the position United have a weakness is in the defensive midfielder role when Brazilian star Fred played today and he made a couple of mistakes which could have resulted to goals. Fred has been playing mostly as a central midfielder but afater being dropped back today he was wasteful and the team missed Scott McTominay who recently had a surgery and will be out for several weeks.

They Scottish midfielder has been playing well there with Fred playing ahead of him but as he is out injured Ole Gunnar should used a player like Victor Lindelof there who has proved he can thrive in that position. Solskjaer can also sign a defensive midfielder this summer as the team has been linked with several players but they are yet to make a move.
