FKF League Resumes as Team is Thrashed 9 Nil

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Kisumu Central Sub County league action returned for the second leg over the weekend, after a two-week break.

Several matches were played on Saturday and Sunday, with the highlight being a team being thrashed 9-0.

On Saturday, Vision Combined FC was beaten 1-2 by Soccer Plus Kisumu FC at the Srilanka ground, Kasarani Homeboyz beat Nyawita FC 2-0 at Kasarani ground, Dunga New Life FC and Awaya United drew 1-1, Coventry FC and Konambuta Young Stars drew 0-0 while Monaco FC beat Kikomi FC 2-0.

On Sunday, Soccer Plus Kisumu attracted attention after thrashing Kikomi FC 9-0 at the Obunga complex stadium, Vision Combined registered a 1-0 win over Coventry, Konambuta Young Stars beat Awaya United 1-0 while Kasarani Homeboyz and Monaca FC managed a 2-2 draw.

Soccer Plus Kisumu now lead the ten-team Kisumu Central Sub County league standings with 30 points after 11 matches, five points ahead of second placed Nyawita FC. However, Nyawita has a match in hand.

Kasarani Home Boyz is third with 23 points, three ahead of 4th placed Monaco, while Kona Mbuta Young Stars is fifth with a distant 14 points.

Awaya United, Dunga New Life and Kikomi FC are 8th, 9th and 10th with 10, 6 and 1 point respectively.
