It seems like it is getting easy and easier to beat Manchester City as the season comes to an end, which is a great worry to Pep Guardiola who has the UEFA Champions League final to play against Chelsea on 29th, May.
The major concern to Pep Guardiola came after Manchester City were given a 3-2 thrashing by Brighton and Hove Albion in the second last game of the 2020/2021 English Premier League season.
Pep Guardiola rallied a wake up call to his players, who seemed to be relaxed after they were sure of lifting the trophy after the Everton match which will be played at The Etihad over the weekend.
Speaking to Sky Sports reports, Pep Guardiola was quoted saying: "I am concerned because this is the final of the Champions League, because the opponent is so tough. We have to improve to beat them
I saw incredible things in the pitch with 11 against 10 for 80 minutes in the Premier League. We are fortunate to lift the trophy and we did it ourselves. Nobody gave us absolutely anything; nothing."
Chelsea won't come on as a weak opponent as they will want to cause more havoc on Manchester City after beating them twice before the final.
This will he a much anticipated fixture in the Premier League history, as two tactical managers are set to battle out for the prestigious UEFA Champions League trophy.
