Gary Neville: Man Utd Don't Play Well Enough as Team to win Title but Must Win a Trophy in 18 Months

Talking on his Sky Sports webcast; Gary Neville says that Manchester Utd should figure out how to play like a group and not as personalities/individuals in case they are to challenge for the title this season.

Manchester United lost for the third time in four games in all competitions, the latest being 1-0 at home to Aston Villa on Saturday following their Carabao Cup third-round rout by West Ham on Wednesday.

In the wake of signing Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane in the summer transfer window, Neville says there is tension on the club to win a trophy in the next 18 months, yet he accepts the club will see out the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer project since firing managers beforehand has not worked.

Manchester United are currently 4th in the Premier League. They will face Villarreal in the Champions League group stage on Wednesday before clashing Everton on Saturday in the early kick-off.
