Serge Aurier To Arsenal, But Is He The Answer To Gunners Rightback Crisis?

On deadline day Tottenham announced that they had released Ivory coast right back Serge Aurier. This was done on mutual consent pending the arrival of Emerson Royal from Barcelona.

Arsenal also confirmed the signature of Takehiro Tomiyasu from Japan as their new left back.Tomiyasu played for Bologna therefore not so much can be put to his name in the international scene.Via Sky sports news,it was reported that the Ivorian would consider a move to Arsenal who are Tottenham's north London rivals after they terminated his contract.Seemingly that is in a move to remain in North London.

Onto whether he is the best right back option for Arsenal currently...Now, Arsenal have Callum Chambers, Cedric Soares and Maitland Niles as right back options. With the addition of Tomiyasu, that makes them 4 right backs.

None of them is good quality to be honest. If Arsenal are to go for another right back then they will have to go for a top top right back and not a downgrade or equal to what they currently have.

Aurier had some few good moments at Tottenham. He is a better attacker but shitty defending. He has conceded penalty lots of time back then.

I don't think he is what Arsenal needs currently.
