Gor Mahia has played against KCB in a friendly match played today at the ABSA grounds as from noon.
The match ended 1-0 in favour of Gor Mahia with the sole goal coming from newly signed Peter Lwasa in the dying minutes of the match, 88th minute.
Peter Lwasa was recently signed from Kariobangi Sharks in this transfer window. The Ugandan has now played his second match since his signing with the first match being against KCB in the FKF Premier League.
In the FKF Premier League opener, Gor Mahia defeated KCB 2-1 with Peter Lwasa providing an assist to youngster Benson Omalla who scored a brace.
Gor Mahia are getting ready for their match against Sudanese side Al Ahly Merowe on 15th October, 2021 in Egypt. The return match for the CAF Confederation Cup will be played a week later in Nairobi.
The record champions will be contesting for the FKF Premier League this season after boosting their squad with a number of signings.
